You can create multiple templates and link each one to different accounts. There is no limit to the number of accounts and it is compatible with all funding firms or brokers that can connect to NinjaTrader. Currently, the available parameters to configure the templates are:

2️⃣ Immediate lock when you break a rule

If you break any of your rules, the Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 automatically blocks the possibility of trading the account. That account will remain blocked until the next trading day. That is, the emotional manager will automatically re-enable the possibility of trading at 6 PM New York time (when a new trading day begins in the markets).

If you have multiple accounts, the lock will only affect the account that broke the rules. Not the others.

3️⃣ Template editing

Once you have configured your emotional manager and are ready to protect your accounts, you must “Start protection”. Once protection has started, you will NO longer be able to change the template configuration. This way you avoid editing the rules of your trading plan with the intention of continuing to trade.

Our priority is to protect you from those moments of impulsivity. For this reason, there are certain filters in place to ensure that you will not unlock the emotional manager in a bad emotional context.

How is the manager unlocked?

The emotional manager is unlocked using a password that is sent to your email and can only be used under scenarios that guarantee that the emotional manager will NOT be unlocked with the intention of continuing to trade. There are 2 types of passwords:

1. Self-managed password: You receive the password to your personal email. However, you can only use it between 4 PM and 6 PM New York time (when the market is closed). This way, we ensure that you do not unlock it during trading hours.
2. Password to a trusted person: The password is sent to the email of a trusted person, who will decide whether to give it to you or not. This password will work at any time of the day. It is expected that the trusted person will serve as a successful filter to determine whether it is appropriate to provide you with the password or not. If your trusted person gives you the password too easily, it is better that you DO NOT set it, taking responsibility that you will only be able to unlock the emotional manager during the permitted hours of the self-managed password.

4️⃣ NEW! – Password sending lock

For those who prefer even greater restriction, you can enable the “password lock”. This will make it so that the emotional manager CANNOT be unlocked EVEN using the previously explained passwords. This functionality deactivates the sending of both passwords (both the self-managed and the trusted person one) until a future date that you will choose.

Remember that the accounts will continue to be enabled on their own each day at 6 PM (New York time). However, by blocking the sending of passwords, you will have no way to unlock the emotional manager to edit the templates.

5️⃣ NEW! – Extreme protection (Maximum security, zero risk)

For those with high technological knowledge, the Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 also protects them. We include strong security measures to:

1. Prevent the user from invasively uninstalling the emotional manager from the files.
2. Prevent time manipulation to evade the emotional manager’s trading lock.
3. Prevent you from opening other platforms with which you could execute trades when NinjaTrader is already locked (TradingView, Tradovate, ATAS, etc).

🤝 Full compatibility with our account replicator

The Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 is fully compatible with the account replicator by Bruno Meza. If you use our NinjaTrader 8 to NinjaTrader 8 replicator or Sandboxie, you will enjoy perfect integration.

Other replicators, since they are not linked with the emotional manager, can generate operational disadvantages. You are free to use other replicators as long as you are aware that you will not fully enjoy the necessary compatibility between both pieces of software.
