The Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 is your perfect ally to follow your trading plan and avoid unnecessary losses. This tool blocks the possibility of trading in NinjaTrader 8 when you break any rule established in your trading plan.

• Moreover, it is NOT like other emotional management tools that allow you to change the configuration of the established rules while they have not yet been violated. This makes those management tools not useful, since the operator, when close to breaking their rules, can change their parameters or even turn off their management tool to continue trading. This will NOT happen with BRUNO MEZA’s emotional manager! since the templates and their configuration are NOT modifiable during operating hours and, even, they may not be modifiable outside operating hours at the user’s choice (more information about this if you keep reading).
• On the other hand, the emotional manager is practically NOT UNINSTALLABLE when you have protection activated. We work on advanced methods that prevent the user from removing the emotional manager from the platform if its protection IS ACTIVE. Even if they delete the manager directly from the files, uninstall and install the platform, among other actions, the emotional manager will remain installed and protecting your accounts.
• All prop firms and brokers are compatible (as long as they can connect to NinjaTrader).
• It allows unlimited accounts and you can set different parameters for each of them.

1️⃣ Easy to use and 100% customizable

1. Create a template with the parameters of your trading plan.
2. Link that template to your account at your prop firm or broker.
3. Turn on protection.
4. Done! You will be protected.

You can create several templates and link each one to different accounts. There is no limit of accounts and it is compatible with all prop firms or brokers that can connect to NinjaTrader. Currently the available parameters to configure the templates are:

2️⃣ Immediate lock when you break a rule

If you break any of your rules, the Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 automatically blocks the possibility of trading the account. That account will be locked until the next trading day. That is, the emotional manager will re-enable the possibility of trading at 6PM New York time automatically (the time when a new trading day starts in the markets).

If you have multiple accounts, the lock will only affect the account that has broken the rules. Not the others.

3️⃣ The templates and their parameters are NOT modifiable (There is no way to modify them, not even before breaking a rule in your trading plan!)

Once you have configured your emotional manager and you are ready to protect your accounts, you must “Start protection.” Once protection has started, you will NOT be able to change the configuration of the templates. In this way, it prevents you from editing the rules of your trading plan with the intention of continuing to trade.

Other emotional management tools allow you to change the configuration of the established rules while they have not yet been violated. This makes these management tools not useful, since the operator, when close to breaking their rules, can change their parameters or even turn off their management tool to continue trading.This will NOT happen with BRUNO MEZA’s emotional manager! since the templates and their configuration are NOT modifiable during operating hours and, even, they may not be modifiable outside operating hours at the user’s choice (more information about this if you keep reading).

3️⃣ Default unlocking methods and parameter editing

Our priority is to protect you from those moments of impulsivity. For this reason, there are certain filters that are imposed to ensure that you will not unlock the emotional manager in a bad emotional context. The unlocking methods for default parameter editing are SIMPLE, but they can be made even more restrictive at the user’s choice if configured that way. You will obtain more information about the higher restriction level in the following points. First, we will talk about the default and simple unlocking methods.

Default and simple unlocking methods

The emotional manager is unlocked by a password that is sent to your email and that can only be used under scenarios that guarantee that the emotional manager will NOT be unlocked with the intention of continuing to trade. There are 2 types of passwords:

1. Self-managed password: You receive the password at your personal email valid only for that day. However, you will only be able to use it from 4PM to 6PM New York time (when the market is closed). In this way, we make sure that you do not unlock it during operating hours. This unlocking method can be removed at the user’s choice (it is explained in the following points).
2. Password to the trusted person: The password is sent to the email of a person you trust, who will decide whether to give it to you or not. The password will only work that day and at any time. The trusted person is expected to fulfill the role of being a successful filter to determine whether it is appropriate to give you the password or not. If your trusted person gives you the password very easily, it is better NOT to set it, assuming the responsibility that you will only be able to unlock the emotional manager at the permitted times of the self-managed password. This unlocking method can be removed permanently at the user’s choice (it is explained in the following points).

4️⃣ ¡NEW! – Password sending lock. A way to further limit unlocking (optional).

For those who prefer even greater restriction, you can enable the “password lock.” As we had previously described, the default ways to unlock the BRUNO MEZA emotional manager is by sending unlocking passwords to your email or to your trusted person’s email (under the limitations already described). However, if you believe that this way can work against you, you can activate the password sending lock.

This will make the emotional manager NOT be able to be unlocked NOR using the passwords previously explained. This functionality deactivates the sending of both passwords (both the self-managed and the trusted person’s) until a future date that you will choose. Because it is a fairly strong restriction, the maximum time for the password sending lock is 30 days. After those 30 days, you can activate the password lock again for 30 more days indefinitely if you wish.

Remember that BRUNO MEZA’s emotional manager will reset the rules of the accounts and will unlock them automatically at each start of the trading day (6 PM New York time).

5️⃣ NEW! – Extreme protection (Maximum security, zero risks) (optional)

For those with high technological knowledge, the Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 also protects them. We include strong security measures to:

1. Prevent the user from being able to uninstall the emotional manager invasively from the files.
2. Prevent the manipulation of schedules to evade the trading lock of the emotional manager.
3. Prevent you from opening other platforms with which you could execute trades when NinjaTrader is already locked (TradingView, Tradovate, ATAS, etc).

5️⃣ NEW! – Instructors (optional)

A fairly new and interesting functionality is the use of instructors. If you are part of a trading academy or your trusted person has trading knowledge, then you can turn them into your instructor. The instructor is a person who, through a web platform, can control and configure your emotional manager remotely.

What it is for

Some people, when they need to make a change, unlock their emotional manager (according to the configured restrictions) and then NEVER again “Start protection,” either due to overconfidence, greed or simply carelessness.

The usefulness of the instructor is to keep the “lock” of the emotional manager out of the user’s reach: If the user needs to modify something, then they request it from the instructor to do it remotely. In this way, it prevents the user from being able to unlock their emotional manager and never lock it again.

Additionally

The instructor not only has remote control of the person’s emotional manager, but can also observe important data such as the blocked accounts and their respective reason.

🤝 Full compatibility with our account replicator

The Emotional Manager for NinjaTrader 8 is fully compatible with the account replicator by Bruno Meza. If you use our NinjaTrader 8 to NinjaTrader 8 replicator or Sandboxie, you will enjoy perfect integration.

Other replicators, since they are not linked with the emotional manager, can generate operational disadvantages. You are free to use other replicators as long as you are aware that you will not fully enjoy the necessary compatibility between both pieces of software.
